My approach
- Listen first. What is happening, and what are you trying to achieve?
- Understand the objectives. Cost, risk, timing and who has to live with the result.
- Review realistic options. Including keeping what you already have.
- Explain the trade-offs. In plain English, with the likely costs.
- Recommend a practical route. And help put it into practice if you want me to.
What you receive
A short written summary you can act on: what I found, the realistic options with their costs and trade-offs, and a recommended route with clear next steps. Where it helps, I can stay involved through planning and delivery rather than handing over a report and disappearing.
How independence works
My starting point is always your requirement, not a product. If I would benefit financially from something I recommend, such as resale margin or a referral commission, I will tell you before you commit, and you are always free to buy elsewhere.
Where I work
Based in Buckinghamshire, I meet clients in person around Chesham, Amersham, High Wycombe and Beaconsfield, and work with organisations across London and the wider South East in person or by video.
Frequently asked questions
Are your recommendations independent?
Yes. My advice starts with your requirement. I explain why an option fits, what the trade-offs are and where a proposal needs challenging, and if I would benefit financially from something I recommend I will say so before you decide.
Can you review a proposal from another supplier?
Yes. I can review the requirement, proposed solution, costs, responsibilities and assumptions before you commit.
Can you stay involved during delivery?
Yes. I can remain involved through planning and implementation, rather than handing over a report and disappearing.
